COURSE COSTS

  •  Classroom Based: $200 per Unit of Competency
  •  Workplace Based (Flexible): $300 per Unit of Competency - Government funding available for the full qualification under the User Choice 2010-2015 Program (subject to candidate eligibility). Student Contribution Fees of $1.60 per nominal hour apply as from 1st January 2014. For more information on User Choice please refer to http://training.qld.gov.au/training-organisations/user-choice.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning: $100 per Unit of Competency

The prices above are quoted per unit of competency. Payment plans are available. Additional fees may apply for training and assessment occurring at more than 200km away from Brisbane CBD such as travel and accommodation costs. These will be calculated according to the location and indicated before to enrolment. New England College of Technology will strive to keep these costs at their minimum. LEARNING PERIOD
The nominal duration to complete qualification is 36 months fulltime. If you are completing your qualification on a part time or as a School based student (SAT) then the nominal period of 72 months will apply. As this training is competency based, completion dates can vary from student to student however will not exceed the nominal duration.

PATHWAYS
After achieving AUR31012 Certificate III in Automotive Sales, candidates may undertake further training; pathways from this qualification include AUR40112 Certificate IV in Automotive Management or other relevant qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the assessment process for recognizing competencies gained through previous learning, work and life experiences. Students need to apply for RPL before their enrolment.
 
In order to be granted RPL, students will need to provide evidence that they are already competent in this/these specific unit or units and these evidences must be valid, authentic, current and sufficient.
